Privacy

Traveled stores your travels, cities, notes and photos on your device. It has no account, no analytics and no tracking. The App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected. Where your data lives, in plain words.

Your journal

Travels, cities, notes and photos live on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Export writes a .traveled file you keep. Import reads a file you choose. Nothing in that journal is sent to us.

What we do not collect

No account, no sign-in, no advertising identifier, no analytics, no crash reporter, no mailing list. We do not run a Traveled cloud. There is no profile of you on our side, because there is no side.

Maps and city search

Atlas and city search use Apple’s MapKit, and so does every map on Mac. Those requests go to Apple, not to us, and follow Apple’s privacy policy. On iPhone and iPad, Visits and Years draw from map data on the device. City search sends Apple the city name you type and its country. Nothing else from your journal is sent.

Purchases

Traveled Pro is a one-time In-App Purchase through Apple. Apple processes the payment. We never see your card or Apple Account. When the app starts, it asks the App Store whether Traveled Pro is unlocked and what it costs.

This website

The marketing site has no accounts and no marketing cookies. It uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views without cookies and without a profile of you. A web host may log ordinary technical requests, as any site does. If you switch the map at the top of the home page to Atlas, your browser loads it from OpenFreeMap, which sees your IP address. None of this is your journal.
